Essential oils were man’s first medicine. Do you remember hearing stories from your great grandparents of using various herbs or plants for healing? Clove oil was always used for a toothache or to numb an area that was painful.

Studies are showing that is best not to watch television within an hour of going to sleep. That would also mean it is best not to have your phone at your bedside if you text a lot! 
Make sure your room is a comfortable temperature with limited light. Sometimes drinking a cup of chamomile tea or warm milk is helpful to help you sleep. Make sure your feet are warm, perhaps adding some warm socks as you go to bed.
I apply a drop of Young Living’s Lavender essential oil on my wrist or brush hands on pillow. If Lavender isn’t working, try Peace and Calming oil. Either oil is helpful for babies or young children to sleep and has helped with cats and dogs as well.
I also sometimes might use Cieaura’s Rest Quiet chip, a holographic chip that works in your energy field and does not put medications in your body. Apply to temple just before going to bed. It may take a few nights of use to start working if your energy is out of balance or you are dehydrated. Drink plenty of water. The nice thing about the oils and the chip, is that there are no side effects.
